**Actor from hit Netflix series “Fauda” seriously injured in Gaza fighting**
Idan Amedi, a well-known actor and singer from Israel, has been seriously injured during fighting in Gaza. Amedi, who is of Kurdish origin, is best known for his role in the hit Netflix series “Fauda,” in which he plays a member of a special forces unit in the Israeli army.
Currently in critical condition in the ICU of the Sheba Tel Hashomer Medical Center in central Israel, Amedi’s family has assured that his life is not in danger. The news of his injury comes as a blow to the entertainment industry and fans worldwide.
Prior to being wounded, Amedi spoke to an Israeli television channel about the war in Gaza.
