Find out what “calabreso” means, a term used by Davi in a fight on BBB 24

During the early hours of this Thursday (February 1st) the atmosphere in the most watched house in the country heated up again. After Fernanda and Alane were involved in the biggest fight of the edition, during the party, Davi, Lucas and Bin Laden also fought and, almost, did not attack each other.

The discussion between the participants happened because Davi heard his name in a conversation between Wanessa Camargo, Lucas and Yasmin Brunet, before the party started. Later, still uncomfortable with the situation, he went to talk to Lucas Capoeira and the fight began. Bin Laden also joined the discussion to defend his ally.

Between exchanging accusations and insults, David called Lucas a “calabrian”. The expression sounded fat-phobic among some participants in the house and Davi was unable to explain the real meaning, but, out here, the slang became known by comedian Toninho Tornado and became a meme on social media.

Tornado is a comedian and actor and became famous for participating in prank TV shows. He currently has a YouTube channel. Videos in which he calls people who fall for his pranks “calabreso”, “mozzarello” and “lumbrigo” went viral on social media. The way of speaking became popular on the internet, it took over the streets and even the BBB.

Despite the participants’ distrust of the term, Yasmin Brunet recalled that the word is a meme. Bin Laden himself, outside the house, has already posted videos on social media using the terms. The internet also echoed the expression used by the Bahian within the program.
