São Paulo will have the first official restaurant of the SpongeBob franchise in the world, the SpongeBob – Burger & Restaurant. It will open in April in the Itaim Bibi neighborhood. With more than 1,000 m² and capacity for 254 people, the complex will have several themed spaces that will take fans on an immersive journey through the most iconic scenes of the Bikini Bottom characters.

Fast-Food – The first floor will feature a burger restaurant with 144 seats that will take fans to have fun with immersive activities, transforming them into true residents of Bikini Bottom, while enjoying snacks, starters and desserts, such as ice cream with exclusive flavors created specifically to sweeten the experience even more.
Flying Dutchman’s Lounge – The second floor will have 40 seats where customers can enjoy a unique moment inside the Flying Dutchman’s Ghost Ship and can also enjoy starters and drinks from a special menu.
SpongeBob House – Still on the second floor, the first and only themed dinner in the world will be offered with 70 seats available. In this space, customers will be able to enjoy a special menu prepared by the renowned Chef Heaven Delhaye.
Bob Store – On the ground floor and mezzanine, a store will bring special items so that all fans can take home a little bit of the SpongeBob – Burger & Restaurant experience.
Kids Spaces – The complex will also have two kids spaces, one of which is Casa da Sandy, located on the mezzanine, where children will immerse themselves in the universe of Sandy Bochechas.
About the partnership
The newest themed venture, Bob Esponja – Burger & Restaurante, is the result of a partnership between Nickelodeon, Paramount and Fan&Food, a pioneering company in the gastronomic entertainment scene in Brazil. Fan&Food was created by the set of skills, passions and cultural influences of its founders: Fernando Saad, Pedro Ollivier, Juliana Araujo and Edgard Gianullo; who combined their skills in food operations, licensing and scenography to create a company that brings entertainment through themed restaurants.
Inspired by the universe of Nickelodeon’s SpongeBob SquarePants, the new restaurant invites fans to immerse themselves in a unique atmosphere, where every detail, from the decoration to the menu, reflects authenticity and passion for the character. Each element has been carefully designed to provide total immersion and a truly memorable experience.
