Florence Welch shares song from “The New Look” soundtrack

The band Florence + The Machine, led by the singer Florence Welchhas just released the song “White Cliffs Of Dover”, which is part of the soundtrack of the series “The New Look”.

The single “White Cliffs Of Dover” is inspired by the air battles in England during World War II and is based on the theme of Walter Kent y Nat Burton from 1941 that was later popularized in the singer’s voice Vera Lynn. The song is about the feeling that eventually the problems will come to an end.

The immersive soundtrack for this project has been produced by Jack Antonoffband leader Bleacherswho also participate with the song “Almost Like Being In Love” for the soundtrack. In the case of the cover of “White Cliffs Of Dover”, Antonoff has maintained the classic sound of the orchestra to highlight its power. On the other hand, the series is inspired by real events and filmed exclusively in Paris. The plot tells the story of fashion designers Christian Dior, Coco Chanel and her contemporaries as they navigated the horrors of World War II and navigated the advancements of modern life.

The series is made up of 10 episodes that will begin airing on February 14th on Apple TV+ (three episodes). Likewise, the series has a stellar cast in which we can enjoy the performances of Maisie Williams, John Malkovich, Emily Mortimer, Claes Bang and Glenn Close.
