Jakarta – Brigadier J’s family attorney, Kamaruddin Simanjutak, revealed the details of his client’s Rp. 7.5 billion lawsuit to Ferdy Sambo cs.
Kamarudin explained that the nominal Rp. 7.5 billion was the amount of salary and allowances that Brigadier J should have received if he was still alive while working at the police institution until his retirement.
“He (Brigadier J) is an active police officer who, if he lives, will have 30 more years of work until he retires at the age of 58 or retires early at the age of 53,” he said at the South Jakarta District Court, quoted on Wednesday, February 28 2024.

So, if you count the next 30 years, he said, Brigadier J is still entitled to his rights. Moreover, the client is not yet married, so his rights return to his parents.
Apart from that, Kamaruddin also mentioned Brigadier J’s ownership of savings worth IDR 200 million at Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI). However, Ricky Rizal took the money on July 11 2022 on orders from Ferdy Sambo’s wife, Putri Candrawathi.
Furthermore, regarding the gold pin, a gift from the National Police Chief to Brigadier J because he had a brilliant performance while serving at the National Police.
Meanwhile, the whereabouts of the 10 gram gold pin is currently unclear. Including three gadgets, a laptop and official clothes which have not returned to Brigadier J’s family.
The South Jakarta District Court (PN) itself held its first trial regarding the lawsuit filed by the parents of the late Brigadier J, namely Samuel Hutabarat and Rosti Simanjuntak, on Tuesday (13/2/2024). However, the trial had to be postponed because Ferdy Sambo was not present.

Apart from Ferdy Sambo, the family of the deceased also sued Sambo’s wife, Putri Candrawathi, Richard Eliezer Pudihang Lumiu or Bharada E, Ricky Rizal Wibowo or Bripka RR, Kuat Ma’ruf and the Chief of the Indonesian Police (Kapolri).
