Bryne has not conceded a goal in the last four games – against Raufoss, Mandalskameratene, Sogndal and Arendal, all of which ended in victory. You could almost say that there are five matches in a row, since the one late goal against Levanger came in the first minute of play.

There is a pressure Vålerenga Bryne meets in Oslo. In the first five games, they have only taken five points, and with their three minus goals are in 12th place in the 1st division. Vålerenga moved down from the elite series last autumn, and of course aims to move straight up again. On Wednesday, they had to play extra innings to beat Tromsø in the third round of the cup.
Bryne coach Kevin Knappen chooses to start with the same 11 as against Sogndal one week ago. Several of those who started against Arendal in the cup on Wednesday have been referred to the bench. Noah Mneney, Kristian Skurve Håland and Elias Årsvoll are not with Oslo.
