A fan meeting for the taiga drama “Hikaru Kimi e” was held on March 18th at the NHK Hall in Shibuya, Tokyo, with a total of 2,438 fans who passed through an 8x lottery.

The setting, which uses the set from “Kohaku”, is also brilliant. Every time a cast member appeared from the grand staircase, applause and cheers erupted. First Summer Uika, who excited the audience many times with her amazing talks, also looked stunning in her costume.

A gorgeous lineup of actors appeared on this day, including leading actors Yuriko Yoshitaka (Mahiro, Murasaki Shikibu), Tasuku Emoto (Michinaga Fujiwara), Keita Machida (Kinto Fujiwara), and First Summer Uika (Kikyou, Sei Shonagon). Announcer Toshie Ito, the narrator, was the moderator, and the atmosphere at the venue was filled with the mood of “To Shineru Kimi.”

“Poor” and “Insects” Mahiro’s jokes burst into laughter in the hall

The venue was particularly lively when the theme was “The hardships of dressing in costumes from the Heian period.” In the previous episode, about Mahiro, whose father Tametoki lost his job and was forced to live in poverty, First Summer Uika said, “Junihitoe weighs 20 kg and is really heavy. Mahiro is poor. , I’m not wearing it,” he said mercilessly, causing the 2,438 fans who knew the story well to burst into laughter. Mr. Yoshitaka also laughed and added, “Noisy,” which caused more laughter.

Mr. Yoshitaka captivated the audience with his simple personality.

Yoshitaka also made a joke about the scene in which Mahiro negotiates directly with Fujiwara Kaneie, the regent, about his father’s appointment, and when Michinaga asks about it, Kaneie dismisses it, saying, “It’s just a bug that got lost.” “Is it okay for me to call myself an aristocrat? I’m like a bug that has wandered in,” he said, making the hall burst into laughter.

Mr. Machida is truly a “star who never fails”

“I think Michinaga’s humanity is the complete opposite of what is commonly thought of as Michinaga,” says Emoto.

One of the most impressive scenes in the first half of the drama, “Uchimari”, also became a hot topic. Looking back, Mr. Emoto said, “I started practicing horseback riding around the fall of the year before last, and it took a lot of time to run it and use the stick.” On the other hand, Mr. Machida said, “I practiced, but I couldn’t get enough of the horse. “I’ve never run with all my might, and I’ve never used a stick before, but the actual performance went well,” he said, much to the surprise of the audience.

Mr. Machida attracted the passionate attention of fans.

Mr. Machida was humble, saying, “The horse I was given to ride was a veteran who had experienced many Taiga dramas,” but at the venue, there were comments such as “As expected of a star,” and “He’s a man who never fails.” I could hear it from everywhere.

Machida’s ball scene was almost like a real performance. “Amazing” and a sigh from the audience

“Please watch over me until the end.” “Sadako-sama is truly amazing.”

Lastly, as a message to the fans, Yoshitaka said, “I’m encouraged by the fact that everyone is watching. Please watch until the end.” Emoto said, “Finally, a quarter of the movie is over, and what’s to come. A lot of things are going to happen. Please look forward to it.” Machida said, “Usually we shoot in a limited space, but we were given an opportunity like this to be seen by so many people.” I was able to feel that there was a lot of people there,” he said, expressing his gratitude to each of them. First Summer Uika appealed to fans about Fujiwara Sadako (played by Mitsuki Takahata in the drama), who Sei Shonagon will serve, saying, “She’s been having some tough stories lately, but Sadako-sama is really amazing.” I was there.
