France, clashes at May Day demonstrations. Ecological attacks in Paris

PARIS – First incidents with tear gas thrown on the sidelines of the march organized by the unions for May Day against the pension reform. By 4 pm, 40 arrests by the police had already been registered.

The procession through the streets of the capital, which according to initial estimates was attended by around 100,000 people (while the CGT union speaks of 550,000), started around 2.30pm
