The featuring between Checco Zalone e Francesco De Gregori is reality in the form of a record entitled “Pastiche”. The two announced the news of the album on TG5 which presented the pairing as unusual. In fact, Zalone and De Gregori are two artists who are essentially poles apart from each other but actually something like music has managed to bring them together. Suffice it to say that Zalone began his comedic career using famous musical pieces in a parodistic way.
They told the news microphones how it happened their meeting, which was actually a fairly simple and short story. It all started while Zalone was on a boat with a friend fishing, then receiving a message saying “I would like to collaborate with you. Signed Francesco DG” message on which the comedian himself joked by saying “I thought it was DJ Francesco and I ignored him“. But then that message proved to be real when De Gregori showed up at his house, almost as if he were a fan looking for autographs, and from there this union was born that gave life to this collection.
