Franka Batelićsinger and wife of Croatian football player Vedran Ćorluka, revealed on Instagram that she visited her elementary school in Labin, and then that she did a noble deed and adopted an Istrian goat.
“Meet Pina! What an honor. We are among the first to adopt an Istrian goat, as part of the project of the Agency for Rural Development of Istria,” said Franka in her announcement.
It is a project to “adopt” a goat, where individuals who want to help can do so with donations that directly support the work of the breeder. The Istrian goat is on the verge of extinction, and besides being the main symbol of Istria, it is also found on the Croatian coat of arms. In the end, Franka showed the certificate and thus officially confirmed her status as an adoptive parent.
