FRP files a case against Per-Willy Amundsen after Facebook messages – Vårt Land

FRP leader Sylvi Listhaug will not say whether Per-Willy Amundsen can continue as head of the justice committee at the Storting.

– Now we will deal with this case internally, and we will not stand in the media and deal with it, we will have to come back to that, says Listhaug to NTB.

Amundsen’s comments, which were about Muslims and women, are unacceptable, Listhaug repeated on Saturday.

Don’t call it racism

But she would not call it racism, nor would she answer a question about what Amundsen’s greeting on the occasion of Women’s Day says about his view of women.

– I have no need to characterize the statements, other than to say that we find them totally unacceptable, and we will follow up on that, she says.

– What kind of consequences can it have?

– We will have to come back to that. Now we are going to hold a national meeting here, and then we will get to work on this after that.

List of Islamists

Amundsen wrote on Thursday evening in the comments section under a post about his support for Israel that he kept a list of Islamists and would send them home to their homelands. Opposite VG he claims that the move was ironic.

In the comments section of the post, which was deleted, Amundsen wrote:

“Islamists who speak out here can go to hell. I will do everything I can to send you home to your homeland. If you express yourself with anti-Semitic attitudes here until 2025, we can clean it up. Let’s count you up… And send you out,” says the article that the newspaper reproduces, among other things.

– You must have seen the entire debate to understand the context. It was full of anti-Semitic posts, outright Jew-hatred. In addition, there were several strong personal attacks against me. Among other things, I was called “underhuman”, “Nazi” and “the brother of ABB”, claims Amundsen in his answer to NTB.

Whiskey-filled gave Women’s Day post

On the night of Friday, Amundsen also published a post on the occasion of Women’s Day, in which he spoke out against “radical women who don’t know the ups and downs of a penis”.

The women have succeeded in “holding men back”, wrote Amundsen in the post which was reproduced by The daily newspaper and since deleted.

Amundsen explained to the newspaper that he had drunk too much whisky, and that he could not remember posting it, but that he was probably behind it.

– It’s not something I wanted to write today. It does not belong on a politician’s Facebook page. It is a language that is not right, said Amundsen.
