Liverpool advanced to the final Carabao Cup after a 1-1 draw at headquarters Fulham. Luis Diaz CS escaped with an aggregate advantage of 3-2.

The second leg of the English League Cup semi-final brings together Fulham vs Liverpool at Craven Cottage, Thursday (25/1/2024) early morning WIB. The visitors came with a 2-1 aggregate advantage in the first leg.

Liverpool immediately broke into Fulham’s goal eleven minutes into the match. Luis Diaz listed his name on the scoreboard.

Diaz managed to maximize Jarell Quansah’s long-range pass into a goal with his right foot shot in the penalty box. Liverpool led 1-0 which lasted until the break.

Fulham appeared to attack in the second half to catch up. The home team was finally able to equalize in the 76th minute.

Issa Diop managed to score a tap-in goal in front of Liverpool’s goal after grabbing Harry Wilson’s pass from the left side. The score is tied at 1-1.

Fulham continued to press Liverpool’s defense in search of a second goal, but their efforts failed to produce results. The score 1-1 was the final result of the match.

This result took Liverpool to the Carabao Cup final with an aggregate of 3-2. Juergen Klopp’s troops will challenge Chelsea, who advanced first after eliminating Middlesbrough 6-2.

The English League Cup final between Chelsea vs Liverpool is scheduled for February 25 2024. Wembley Stadium is the arena for the battle for the championship trophy.
