Vy og Bane Nor: Full stop due to signal failure
Trains across large parts of the country stand still. It is due to a signal error, confirms Bane Nor.
“There is a complete standstill in traffic in large parts of the country due to signal error. We are looking for the error. For now, we don’t know how long it will take,” Bane Nor writes on his website.
Vy states that the cause is an error in the communication system.
The whole country is closed to train traffic, Vy writes on its website. They also write that all travelers must expect delays and cancellations.
The train drives to the nearest station and stops the train there and waits, explains Vy.
“There is an error in our remote control network, which occurred around 1.40 p.m.,” says press officer at Bane Nor Mari Rjaanes.
