Hangzhou Net Release time: 2022-04-18 21:28

CCTV Financial News on the 16th local time, RIA Novosti citing information released by Gazprom reported that at the request of buyers, the company’s natural gas exports to Europe are still transiting through Ukraine, and the transshipment volume has not changed significantly.

According to reports, Gazprom is currently transshipping natural gas through Ukraine as usual. According to the number of gas purchases by consumers in European countries, the gas transmission volume reached 57.2 million cubic meters on the 16th. In addition, according to the contract, Gazprom will transfer 40 billion cubic meters of natural gas through Ukraine to European countries in 2022, that is, 109.6 million cubic meters of gas per day. RIA Novosti said that from the end of February to the whole of March, there was no major change in the amount of natural gas transshipped.

US media reported on the 16th that despite Russia being sanctioned by Western countries, Russia’s energy sales have continued to grow. Russia has enough buyers to support its energy sector and earn high incomes from trade in raw materials, the report said. According to Reuters, India has purchased at least 13 million barrels of Russian oil since Russia launched the special military operation, while India’s purchases last year were only 16 million barrels. Bloomberg estimates that Russia’s energy export revenue will reach about $321 billion this year, more than a third more than last year.
