After yesterday’s ZiB2 interview with SPD leader Esken, there was no stopping Gerald Grosz.
Former Austrian presidential candidate Gerald Grosz has reported German SPD leader Saskia Esken to the Vienna public prosecutor’s office for trivializing the crimes of National Socialism after her scandalous interview on May 1st in ZIB2.
‘Adverse comparisons’
“Saskia Esken shamelessly trivializes the crimes of National Socialism. Even harder! With these disgusting comparisons to the AfD, she is literally spitting into the grave of the victims of the Nazi era. Esken is obviously trying to neutralize other political competitors by brandishing the Nazi club. This Sunday Democrat deliberately takes the risk of trivializing the crimes of the Nazi regime and desecrating the victims in the media. If the German judiciary is not able to stop such otherworldly democratic discourse among competitors, the Austrian judiciary should do it after this scandalous interview,” said Grosz.

“With such otherworldly, disgusting comparisons, she insults the true victims of National Socialism with impunity and puts the millions of dead into perspective. Because the self-proclaimed anti-fascist actually has no regard for the victims of fascism, no respect whatsoever, doesn’t know the history, and just cheaply abuses them. The lady is cheap, politically cheap, humanly cheap. A walking declaration of bankruptcy for every parliamentary discourse. People who had to give the most valuable thing for their origins, their religion, their political views, their homeland or their sexuality: their lives, are posthumously abused for base party political purposes,” Grosz concludes.

In the course of an interview for the program “ZIB2” for the ORF – Austrian Broadcasting Corporation on Tuesday, May 1, 2024 at 10 p.m., the German citizen Ms. Saskia Christian Esken, born August 28, 1961, pA German Bundestag, Platz der Republik 1 , D-11011 BERLIN, GERMANY, said the following:
Moderator: Are you now comparing the AfD with Goebels? ESKEN: Yes, this is a Nazi party! Moderator: Don’t you think that’s grossly exaggerated? ESKEN: No.
§ 3 h. of the Prohibition Act:
(1) Anyone who publicly denies, trivializes, condones or tries to justify the National Socialist genocide or other National Socialist crimes against humanity shall, unless the act is punishable under Section 3g, be punished with a prison sentence of six months to five years . Anyone who publicly denies, trivializes, condones or tries to justify the National Socialist genocide or other National Socialist crimes against humanity is to be punished with a prison sentence of six months to five years, unless the act is punishable under paragraph 3g.
(2) Anyone who commits the offense in a printed work, on the radio or in another medium or in another way that makes it accessible to many people is to be punished with a prison sentence of one to ten years.
The crimes of National Socialism claimed millions of lives. The comparison of the NSDAP with the “Alternative for Germany – AfD” party, which was democratically elected and represented in the German Bundestag, represents a trivialization of the National Socialist genocide on the radio. This is all the more difficult to take into account, especially since the moderator himself pointed out to the suspect that that such a comparison would be “vastly exaggerated”.
I request that the facts of the case, other possible criminal offenses be examined and an investigation be initiated.
