A rain of goals was created in the match Luton Town vs Manchester City in the fifth round Cup FOUR. City won 6-2, with five goals scored Erling Haaland.
From Luton vs Man City held at Kenilworth Road, Wednesday (28/2/2024) early morning WIB. Haaland scored a hat-trick in the first half.
City was already ahead when the game only entered the third minute. Matheus Nunes passed to Kevin De Bruyne who then threw a pass to Erling Haaland who was in front of the goal. Haaland then finished it off as a goal.

City’s attack again bore fruit in the 18th minute. Haaland scored his second goal to double City’s lead.
Stefan Ortega’s kick fell to Haaland’s feet who passed it to De Bruyne. De Bruyne then released a through ball and Haaland calmly beat Tim Krul.
City had the opportunity to add a goal through De Bruyne’s volley, but was thwarted by Tim Krul. The ball was hit by Haaland, but Tim Krul was again able to make a save.
Haaland completed his hat-trick in the 40th minute. De Bruyne provided another assist and Haaland finished by lifting the ball past Tim Krul.
Luton reduced the deficit in the 45th minute through Jordan Clark’s shot from outside the penalty box. The ball shot towards the top corner of the City goal and Stefan Ortega, who was out of step, couldn’t anticipate it.
The goal margin between Luton and City narrowed in the 52nd minute. Jordan Clark scored his second goal to make it 2-3.
However, this score did not last long. Just three minutes after Luton’s second goal, Haaland scored his fourth to put City 4-2 up. He completed De Bruyne’s pass to break through Luton’s goal.
Haaland scored his fifth goal in the 58th minute. This time he received the ball from Bernardo Silva and then beat Tim Krul.
Mateo Kovacic increased City’s lead in the 72nd minute. Kovacic scored a goal with a kick from outside the penalty box.
This victory sent City through to the FA Cup quarter-finals. The draw for the FA Cup quarter-finals will be held on Wednesday (28/2/2024) evening local time.
