Hasani previously uploaded a story that he was contacted by someone who said that his grandson was Jairo Riedewald. He then said that the Crystal Palace midfielder wanted to strengthen the Indonesian national team. He also claimed that the 27 year old player had Indonesian blood from his grandmother who was from Manado.

Suddenly this became the spotlight of Indonesian football fans on social media. They welcomed the news, the truth of which could not be confirmed. Hasani also said that he had not communicated this to PSSI General Chair Erick Thohir. He wanted to first ensure the validity of the information obtained.

Jairo Riedwald’s name has recently been widely associated with Indonesian National team. He was born in Haarlem, Netherlands on September 9 1996. Now he plays for Crystal Palace, a club that plays in the highest caste of the Premier League. The frizzy-haired midfielder graduated from the Ajax Amsterdam academy. He played for the Ajax senior team before moving to England in 2017.
