Heerenveen held Twente 3-3 in the 28th match of the Dutch Eredivisie at the Abe Lenstra Stadium, Thursday (4/4) early morning WIB. Thom Haye scored one goal which saved Heerenveen from defeat.
Ricky van Wolfswinkel gave visiting team Twente a 1-0 lead in the 11th minute with extraordinary individual action. Goalkeeper Mickey van der Hart could only watch the ball go into the bottom left corner of the goal.
Twente only needed two minutes to increase their lead to 2-0. In the 13th minute, Daan Rots without hesitation fired a shot from outside the penalty box which aimed at the bottom right corner to vibrate Heerenveen’s goal for the second time.

Heerenven scored a goal back in the 21st minute, with a header from Ion Nicolaescu. Utilizing a cross, Nicolaescu directed the ball to Twente’s right post.
The hosts continued to press Twente in search of an equaliser, but Osame Sahraoui’s effort with a powerful shot was also saved by goalkeeper Unnerstall.
Instead of scoring an equalizer, Heereveen conceded again in the 36th minute, Twente winning 3-1. This time Twente’s third goal was scored by defender Robin Propper after taking advantage of a rebound.
Heerenveen immediately responded to Twente’s goal by reducing the deficit to 2-3 in the 38th minute. Osame Sahraoui found the back of the Twente goal after using Oliver Braude’s assist.
Propper was deemed to have handball in the penalty box by the referee in the 56th minute. Penalty for Heerenveen as well as a chance to equalize.
Thom Haye, who was Heerenveen’s penalty taker, did not waste this opportunity. Haye keenly saw goalkeeper Unnerstall move first to the right side. The Indonesian national team midfielder made no mistake in placing the ball into the middle of the goal in the 58th minute.
Naci Unuvar almost put Twente back ahead 4-3 in the 86th minute, but his shot went wide on the left side of the opponent’s goal. Both teams had to be satisfied with a 3-3 draw.
