Meanwhile, Thom Haye is also undergoing a naturalization process to become an Indonesian citizen (WNI) which has started at the end of December 2023.
However, his application was hampered due to the DPR recess period from 7 February 2024 to 4 March 2024 so there was little chance of being able to defend the Indonesian National Team in the continuation of the 2026 World Cup Qualifications for the Asia Zone at the end of next month.
