JAKARTA, investor.id – Deputy Chair of the National Winning Team (TPN) Ganjar – Mahfud, Andika Perkasa gave his response regarding the alleged hoax case that dragged Aiman Witjaksono.
The TV presenter who is also the spokesperson for TPN Ganjar Mahmud was involved in a suspected hoax case as a result of his statement which said that police officers were not neutral in the 2024 elections. This case has also moved to the investigation stage since the end of last December.
“Yes, in my opinion, we follow, we also have the right to, for example, get legal defense, from a legal advisor, and whatever the first decision will be. Even if it has been submitted to court, yes we still have the right. So this process is a process that everyone must go through ,” said Andika Perkasa when met in the Pasar Minggu area, South Jakarta, Sunday (28/1/2024).
Andika continued that his party felt that in his capacity as a journalist, Aiman had the rights and protection of the journalism code of ethics.
“We definitely respect it, even though we feel that Mas Aiman, in his capacity as a journalist, actually also has rights and protection from the journalism code of ethics,” said Andika.
“But we really respect the legal process, because we will also enforce the law if, for example, Mas Ganjar and Pak Mahfud are elected,” he added.
Meanwhile, there were six community alliances who reported the spokesperson for the National Winning Team (TPN) Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud Md Aiman Witjaksono at Polda Metro Jaya regarding his statement accusing the police of not being neutral.
On Friday (26/1/2024) Aiman was questioned for 12 hours and asked 59 questions. To the media crew after the examination, Aiman admitted that he felt worried when the police confiscated his cellphone (HP).
AIman said there had been a debate regarding this matter. because he is worried about sources who reveal that there are non-neutral elements in the 2024 elections.
