In November 2023, Olivera suffered a second-degree injury to the medial collateral ligament in his left knee, and had to undergo surgery. Since then, the Uruguayan missed 14 games with Napoli until he reappeared this Sunday in the duel against Milan.
In that match, he came on from the substitute bench with 14 minutes left in the match, which his team lost 1-0 in the Italian league.
