Pop star Usher surprised everyone with a very special performance at his halftime show in Super Bowl LVIII between the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers (25:22 OT): In between, the singer was briefly on roller skates.

In his medley, which was around 13 minutes long, the 45-year-old was seen shortly before the end performing a duet with singer will.i.am in a futuristic outfit, with roller skates on his feet. He did a few laps and then even did a dance routine, supported by background dancers. At the end of the one-minute interlude, he even slipped between will.i.am’s legs.
The multiple Grammy winner got a lot of celebrity support for his show: alongside will.i.am, he sang a short duet with Alicia Keys. HER, Jermaine Dupri as well as Lil Jon and Ludacris were also there. With the latter he sang his biggest international hit “Yeah!” at the end of the show.
“It’s the greatest honor of my life to be able to check off a Super Bowl appearance on my bucket list,” Usher said before the show. He had already been on stage in 2011, but back then it was a short guest appearance at the “Black Eyed Peas” show.
Last year, Rihanna appeared on the Halftime Show.
