The intention to pay zakat fitrah is divided based on each person who will pay it. Zakat fitrah itself can be delegated, this is because babies do not yet understand this, even though all Muslims are obliged to pay it. Usually small children who do not yet understand about this zakat fitrah will be paid by their parents. Many also pay zakat fitrah as a family in order to pay off the obligations of the whole family.
