JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV – The Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) is again distributing the Smart Indonesia Program (PIP) which includes students holding Smart Indonesia Cards (KIP) and students from families with disadvantaged economic conditions or at risk of poverty.
The Ministry of Education and Culture launched an online checking system that allows students to monitor the status of disbursement of PIP aid funds in 2024. This system is managed through the Education Financing Service Center (Puslapdik) of the Ministry of Education and Culture.

Through this digital platform, around 18.5 million PIP recipient students can access the latest information regarding the disbursement process of their PIP Direct Cash Assistance (BLT). PIP beneficiaries include students holding Smart Indonesia Cards (KIP) and students from families with disadvantaged economic conditions or at risk of poverty.
The total funding allocation for the PIP program in 2024 will reach IDR 13.4 trillion. The amount of assistance provided varies according to education level, starting from IDR 450,000 to IDR 1.8 million per year.

To access this online checking system, students can visit the official PIP website at pip.kemdikbud.go.id and follow the steps below.

After following these steps, students will be able to see the latest information regarding the disbursement status of their PIP aid funds.
The PIP program is not only open to KIP holders, but also to students from various special backgrounds, including those affected by natural disasters or who have other special needs.

With this online checking system, it is hoped that it can increase transparency and make it easier for PIP recipient students to monitor the status of disbursement of aid funds.
2024 PIP Recipient Students
Students holding KIP Students from poor/vulnerable families and/or with special considerations such as:
- Students from families participating in the Family Hope Program
- Students from families who hold Prosperous Family Cards
- Students who are orphans/orphans from schools/social institutions/orphanages
- Students affected by natural disasters
- Students who do not attend school (drop out) are expected to return to school
- Students who experience physical disorders, victims of disasters, whose parents have had their employment terminated, in conflict areas, from convict families, are in correctional institutions, have more than 3 (three) siblings living in the same house
- Participants in course institutions or other non-formal education units
