Hungary, new anti-LGBT squeeze. Orbán wants to ban “homosexual propaganda” in schools and in advertising

BERLIN – New, serious homophobic legislative squeeze by the Hungarian premier Viktor Orbán less than a year after difficult political elections. His party, Fidesz (which has the Országház in its unicameral Parliament), today filed amendments to the recent law against pedophiles who directly affect the LGBT community. The amendments, whose rapid passage is taken for granted, prohibit any propaganda and dialogue and information, scholastic and otherwise, in favor of homosexuality.
