– I would go crazy if I didn’t get to work, says the veteran actor. As this week again in the newly interpreted science fiction universe as the evil and grotesquely fat baron Vladimir Harkonnen, when “Dune 2” premieres.

– I only worked every other day, I got rashes and chafing, says Skarsgård, who used a vest with wires that pumped ice water around the suit.

Expectations for “Dune 2” are high, after the predecessor “Dune” from 2021 – also directed by Denis Villeneuve – was nominated for ten Oscars and won six of them. It grossed $402 million worldwide, which is the second-highest for a film made for the HBO Max streaming service, according to Deadline.
The Norwegian gala premiere for “Dune” is tonight at the Colosseum cinema in Oslo, while the regular cinema premiere is on 28 February. Originally, the second film was supposed to premiere last November, but the date was moved due to the actor’s strike.
