He surrendered to the Guardia Civil in Ibiza and the Italian was arrested who at dawn on Saturday shot two compatriots in Santa Eularia for reasons of jealousy. This was reported by the Periodico de Ibiza citing investigative sources.

The main hypothesis on the investigators’ table is that the motive for the attack was a quarrel for private reasons, probably out of jealousy. However, other investigative lines have not been discarded: according to the reconstructions of various media, one is that of disagreements related to the organization of clandestine parties. The alleged attacker, 33-year-old Michele Guadagno, arrived at the party accompanied by at least one other person, opened fire and then quickly walked away, he learned from the first reconstructions of the Spanish Civil Guard which confirmed the identity of the man . The deployment of men and means put in place to capture him was “large”, explains a source familiar with the investigation. Investigators are convinced that his arrest would have been only a “matter of time”.

The Italian hit by the shots – the Civil Guard confirmed – is Antonio Amore, 28 years old: he was operated on on Saturday for at least three gunshot wounds to the head and three to the leg. A 35-year-old compatriot, whose name was not leaked, was instead slightly injured and was discharged Saturday morning after a brief hospitalization.

The three Italians involved in the affair are of Campania origin, but have long lived in Ibiza.
