IDLES sign up for surrealism in the clip for “Gift Horse”

Although the years continue to pass, IDLES is one of those groups that retains the vigor, strength and determination of the first days. Seven years after their debut album, we can safely say that this is indeed still the case, and it seems that they don’t really want to get off that bandwagon. After having released the singles “Dancer” and “Grace”, the British band continues the path towards their new album, “TANGK” (Partisan 24). In this case, they now surprise with “Gift Horse”, their third single, which is musically enhanced by the visceral and audiovisually surreal.

The song, seasoned with the band’s classic explosive sound, is accompanied by a surreal video clip that once again confirms the creative validity of the band from Bristol. The video clip, based on close-ups and fragmented images, plays with contrasts and subconscious thoughts, always intoning the acidic and the ironic as weapons of expression. The clip, which is directed by David Helmanhas an impeccable invoice.

“TANGK” will see the light this next February 16thand which can now be reserved through this link.

Let’s remember that IDLES will be performing in our country in March:
