From today, iliad users who activate a new SIM they will have the opportunity to customize your phone number for free choosing the last 6 digits. With this new feature, we read in a note, “iliad confirms its commitment to giving users maximum freedom of choice and the possibility of having a truly customized experience”.

Currently, phone number customization can only be done online. In the next few years, it will be possible to customize your number during the SIM activation process also at all iliad Stores, iliad Corners and iliad sales points with Simbox.
Number personalization is a free serviceavailable for all new iliad SIMs (new activations only)regardless of the offer chosen.
HOW DOES IT WORK
During the first phase of the offer activation process on iliad.it, after choosing from the available offers (currently GIGA 180, GIGA 120 and DATI 300) the user will be able to choose whether to be assigned a number or customize it by entering a favorite combination.
The telephone number to customize will have the prefix already defined (351, 352)which will follow a first digit assigned randomly before the six numbers of the user’s choice. After a brief check, if the combination is already occupied, you can request an alternative number, choose between combinations similar to the preferred one or proceed with random assignment.
