Indonesia approves Boeing 737 MAX return to flight

Securities Times.com, according to CCTV news, more than three years after the crash of a Boeing 737 MAX airliner of Lion Air in Indonesia, the Ministry of Transport of Indonesia lifted the ban on this aircraft on December 28.

The Indonesian Ministry of Transport announced in a statement that, as a regulatory agency, the General Administration of Civil Aviation of the Ministry of Transport decided to lift the no-fly order after completing its assessment of the system changes on the Boeing 737 MAX passenger aircraft.

The statement pointed out that all civil aviation operators must abide by airworthiness regulations. Before the Boeing 737 MAX series passenger planes go back to flight, the operators and the Civil Aviation Administration of China will separately inspect the passenger planes.
