Another American has been captured in Medellin for being involved in criminal networks that exploit children for sexual purposes. The latest arrest involves a 51-year-old foreigner named Brandon Seth Woody who was found with a 15-year-old girl in a tourist house in the San Isidro neighborhood.
Acting on information provided by a support network, authorities were able to locate Woody and the minor at a rented property on Carrera 51b and Calle 93. The tourist house did not have the necessary documentation for rental and was immediately sealed off.
Authorities are now investigating whether Woody is linked to the same network as Timothy Livingston and Stefan Correa, two other American men who were previously arrested for similar crimes. The identity of the foreigner was confirmed as Brandon Seth Woody, and authorities are looking into his financial activities in Colombia.
The minor was taken to the Family Police Station for support, while Woody was arrested on charges of child exploitation. This latest arrest highlights the ongoing efforts by Colombian and American authorities to crackdown on individuals involved in the sexual exploitation of children.
