Tandrevold went into the finish line with a clear lead, and is set to win the World Cup race in Holmenkollen.
– I think this biathlon is tiring. That it should go up and down so much. Now I wanted to really just give up now, just give up now, the winner tells NRK after the dream race.

Career best
Sweden’s Elvira Øberg secured second place, while Ida Lien made a big impression.
She managed one miss after four shootings and climbed onto the podium. It is her best result in the World Cup.
– She has a fourth place as the best in the World Cup. She has indeed become world champion in the relay and it is her biggest day as a biathlete so far. This is completely up against that. She has struggled shooting-wise, but delivered one of her best races ever, commented NRK’s Jann Post when Lien crossed the finish line.
Both Tandrevold and Lien had a tough WC in Nove Mesto, and are therefore really hitting back.

– A rare revenge, said Post.
Lien was naturally very satisfied, and answers this to questions about the recipe for success.
– I think we needed to come home to relax from biathlon. Simply do other things, says Lien.
– I think perhaps our problem is that we sometimes try a little too hard. Then I think we both needed to lower our shoulders a bit, Tandrevold followed up on the live broadcast.
Favorite rider Justine Braisaz-Bouchet started very well, but missed twice and fell down the results list.

You can watch the race on NRK, and minutes before the start, the state channel reveals that they have taken action. Normally, Jann Post comments together with Torgeir Bjørn, but today the latter is ill.
This means that the fresh NRK expert Marte Olsbu Røiseland is thrown straight to the wolves.
