On stage were Rui Sinel de Cordes, Salvador Martinha and Luís Franco Bastos. The objective was to honor the fourth member of Lx Comedy Club, Ricardo Vilão, who died in September. But Sinel de Cordes, “drunk, euphoric and energetic”, insulted a spectator and even said that he “should die with cancer”. Several people left the show halfway through.

Rui Sinel de Cordes, Salvador Martinha and Luís Franco Bastos came together to pay tribute to their friend Ricardo Vilão, who died four months ago. However, “I’ll die tomorrow”, in Lisbon, didn’t go the best way. Sinel de Cordes is being accused of offending a spectator and of “disgraceful”, “very serious” and “disrespectful” behavior. Several people left the room in the middle of the show. On social media, reports are multiplying. SIC Notícias heard the testimony of a spectator who knocked on the door.

Tivoli BBVA Theatre, in Lisbon, Tuesday, January 23rd. O first of two tributes to comedian Ricardo Vilão, who died in September 2023, aged 45, and who was the “joy of the group”. The four formed the Lx Comedy Club and took ‘tours’ around the country. The solidarity show, whose proceeds go to the Villain’s family, was supposed to be about “stories and memories of the Villain’s influence”, but it wasn’t quite like that.

It started “well”, with “good dynamics” between the three. However, always armed with a drink, Sinel de Cordes “he started to get touched” and admitted it, reported a spectator who did not want to be identified. From then on, “he took charge of the show, without following the line-up” and without letting his colleagues speak.

“At one point he left the stage shouting loudly that he needed to ‘go piss’. He clearly left Salvador Martinha and Luís Franco Bastos confused. They tried to make time, with some embarrassment. After returning to the stage, Rui came in euphoric and energetic, his voice was already dragging“, said.

Until “he fell on the stage and went back to “not letting his colleagues speak”. The atmosphere was “tense” both on stage and in the audience. “No one laughed”.

This is where tempers flare. From the first rows you hear “something like that”: “Rui, let them talk.”

How does Sinel de Cordes react? With “insults and shouting”: “Shut up, you f***ing c***!”, “you’re a cow”, “you should die of cancer”, “you’re ordinary”.

“I would kill you myself for interrupting me, if it weren’t for the Villain’s spectacle”he said, according to the viewer’s report to SIC Notícias.

The woman left the room, “ashamed and embarrassed”, and with her more people stood up. “That’s it, go away, you f***ing c******,” said the comedian. From the galleries someone shouted that the “Villain friend didn’t deserve this”, accusing the comedian of being “ordinary”.

According to the viewer, Salvador Martinha “put his hands on his head” and Luís Franco Bastos “dropped his face”. They were “disillusioned and ashamed”, he portrays.

Com “deep disgust” and “other people’s shame”, the viewer that SIC Notícias spoke to was one of those who abandoned Tivoli BBVA. Outside, he reports, people were “in disbelief.” A man, who claimed to be an acquaintance of Ricardo Vilão, “he was trembling with anger at having ruined his honor.”

“These were public insults, insults, defamation, completely gratuitous and the state of drunkenness, consumption or the fact that it was a tribute to a loved one who had recently died does not justify or mitigate it. It was very serious”, he tells SIC Notícias .

For this viewer, the Rui “as a comedian he died there”. She unfollowed him and says she “will never watch any of his performances.”

On Instragram, a user believes that Sinel de Cordes was “disgraceful” and “completely disrespectful”, however, he thanked Salvador Martinha and Luís Franco Bastos “for what they managed to provide”. In the same publication, other viewers thank the two comedians “for manage to handle other people’s shame”.
