Inter agreed to purchase Bruno Gomes from Coritiba and made the signing of the midfielder official on Friday night. The midfielder, who already played for Colorado in 2022, signs a contract for four seasons, until December 2027. The club from Rio Grande do Sul now has 100% of the athlete’s rights.
The 22-year-old midfielder was regularized in the BID (Daily Newsletter) of the CBF and registered in the Campeonato Gaúcho. He is, therefore, available to the technical committee for the final rounds of the first phase of the state championship and is ready to play in the Copa do Brasil, Sudamericana and Brasileirão.
The midfielder was one of Coritiba’s highlights last season, despite relegation to Series B. He played 45 games, with three goals and two assists. Recently, he defended the Brazilian team at the Pre-Olympics in Venezuela. In total, he played in five matches, two as a starter.
It will be Bruno Gomes’ second spell at Inter. Hired in February 2022 from Vasco, the young man played just one game for the club from Rio Grande do Sul due to a broken elbow. In July of the same year, he was loaned to Coritiba and later acquired definitively for R$4.5 million in early 2023.
