The Milanese team continues to be in great form. In the last round, playing away from home, Internazionale beat Lecce 4-0 without any major difficulties. Lautaro Martínez (twice), Davide Frattesi and Stefan de Vrij scored the goals.

With this result, the Nerazzurri recorded their tenth consecutive victory, counting all competitions. Furthermore, the advantage over second-place Juventus remained at nine points.

For the match, coach Simone Inzagui will have to deal with some injury losses. This is the case of defender Francesco Acerbi, midfielders Stefano Sensi and Juan Cuadrado and striker Marcus Thuram. Goalkeeper Yann Sommer is recovering from a fever and is doubtful for the match.

On the Atalanta side, coach Gian Piero Gasperini is expected to be without defender Giorgio Scalvini, who was injured in the match against Milan. Playing at the same San Siro, La Dea drew 1-1 against the Rossoneri. Striker Rafael Leão opened the scoring for the home team, but midfielder Teun Koopmeiners equalized from the penalty spot.

With that, Atalanta’s six-game winning streak was interrupted. On the other hand, the team has gone 11 games without losing and remains in fifth place in the Italian Championship. Fourth-placed Bologna now has a two-point lead over La Dea.
