Increasingly closer to the ‘Scudetto’, Inter Milan thrashed Atalanta 4-0 this Wednesday (28), at San Siro, while Napoli overpowered Sassuolo 6-1, in delayed games of the 21st round of the Italian Championship.
With the victory, the Nerazzurri now have a 12-point advantage over second-placed Juventus, 12 rounds from the end of the championship, in which they are proving to be far superior to the others, with just one defeat in 26 games.
This Wednesday’s matches, initially scheduled for January, were postponed because Inter and Napoli played in the Italian Super Cup in Saudi Arabia, where coach Simone Inzaghi’s team won the title after defeating the Neapolitans in the final.
