When the first confinement measures were taken, the Madrid-based industrial engineer Francisco de Asís de Ribera, 40, was unemployed. A few weeks later he read in a CNN article that China was restricting academic publications on the origin of Covid. Ribera wrote it on Twitter and started searching online without leaving his home in the Chamberí neighborhood.
