“We are expanding the herd”, writes the former cross-country star in the post.
She has attached several photos where she is out on a trip with her girlfriend Ingeborg Djupnes. On the one hand, the roommate points to Jacobsen’s growing belly.
Congratulation pours in under the post. The former golf star Suzann Pettersen is among those who have sent their best wishes.
Jacobsen broke through in full with the WC gold in the sprint in Sapporo in 2007. Just weeks earlier, she had taken her first podium in the World Cup. It happened in a sprint in Otepää in Estonia.
Her last World Cup race was at home in Holmenkollen in March 2020.
In 2018, she was part of the Norwegian team that took Olympic gold in the relay in Pyeongchang. There have also been two relay golds in connection with the WC.
Individually, she has two WC silvers and five WC bronzes on her track record. Jacobsen has also been on the podium in the World Cup 56 times.
After his active career, Jacobsen has been a cross-country expert for NRK and chaired the athletes’ committee in the Norwegian Sports Confederation.
