The provisional death toll from a train accident in Iran on the Tabas-Yazd line is at least 13 dead and 50 injured. The Iranian agency Fars reports. According to the governor of Tabas, Ali-Akbar Rahimi, quoted by the agency Irna, the activities of rescuers continue in search of people who could still be trapped in the carriages of the derailed train at 5.30 local time this morning.
The causes of the accident are not yet clear.
