Turin and Juventus will play the “Derby della Mole” on Saturday, and the duel between the two Turin clubs suddenly found itself on the “agenda” of the European Parliament.
The member of the European Parliament from Ireland, Mick Wallace, appeared at the session on Thursday wearing a Torino jersey, and then in his speech he gave his support to “Granata”.
“Good luck to Torino in the match against Juventus,” Wallace said in Italian and added: “Juve merda, forza Toro.”

Volas is known as a big fan of Torino, even though he lives in Ireland, and this is not the first time he comes to the sessions wearing the shirt of his favorite club.
Ten years ago, a video of him addressing the Irish parliament wearing a Torino shirt went viral after it was posted by an Italian account’s Twitter account. After that, he was often known to come to work in Brussels wearing club uniforms, and he was also known to miss the sessions of the European Parliament when they coincided with Turin matches.
“I won’t come, then I’m in the stands (Curva Maratona)”, announced his resignation a few years ago, Volas, who has also been a Torino season ticket holder for years.
