War Cabinet member Benny Gantz says Hamas has already been pushed out of control in much of Gaza and that bringing the hostages home is a priority over any other military objectives, the Times of Israel reports. “The IDF’s achievements continue to grow,” Gantz says at a press conference in Tel Aviv. “In much of the Strip, Hamas is effectively no longer in control.”
Gantz says “we must continue; if we stop now, Hamas will regain control.” He adds that “we are in the midst of dismantling the infrastructure of terrorism.” “We have determination and patience. Our enemies must know that our determination is infinite,” he says. According to the minister, “the most important thing is to return the hostages; it has priority over all the elements of the
combat. To the hostages, if you can hear me, I want you to
Please know that we are doing everything we can to bring you back to your loved ones.”
