16-Year-Old Minor Kidnapped and Assaulted by Girlfriend of Boy She Was Messaging
A 16-year-old girl was kidnapped, humiliated, and beaten by the girlfriend of a boy she had been messaging. The incident took place in the Pueblo Llano municipality, Mérida state, and involved the girlfriend, another young woman, and two men.
The girlfriend used her boyfriend’s phone to lure the minor to a location where she was assaulted and then transported on motorcycles to the vicinity of the cemetery. The attackers shouted insults and abused the victim before abandoning her in Plaza Bolívar in that town.
To make matters worse, the attackers recorded part of the beating with the intention of publicly exposing the minor for an alleged love relationship. The evidence has been presented to the authorities of the Public Ministry.
