Both the fans and the father of Hailey Bieber have a hen to pick with Jimmy Kimmel.
Last night, the film world‘s biggest night took place aka the Oscars, and Jimmy Kimmel hosted the festivities.
As usual, however, it is not only the evening’s winners and losers who get attention on the big internet the following day.
This year it is, among other things, Jimmy Kimmel’s joke about the culture in Hollywood that makes some people wrinkle their noses.
Especially the fans of Hailey Bieber, as the Rhode mogul was mentioned.

As part of a slightly more serious theme in the monologue, the Oscar host addresses the strike that characterized the film industry in 2023.
Among other things, he points out how this proved that Hollywood is not just a superficial place.
– We can be proud that this long work stoppage taught us that this very strange city of ours, as pretentious and superficial as it can be, is at its heart a city of unity. It’s not just a town of people with lots of botox, Hailey Bieber smoothie drinkers, diabetes drug addicts or gluten-sensitive nepobabies with quivering chihuahuas, Jimmy jokes.

However, it turns out that not everyone thinks Jimmy Kimmel’s joke was so funny.
Of those who react, we certainly find a majority of loyal Hailey Bieber fans.
They think it was unnecessary for the presenter to name-drop their great idol.
“Once again, a man after a woman comes out of the blue just to throw unnecessary hate,” reads one of the reactions to X.
“A grown man tries to bully a woman decades younger than him and he’s not embarrassed???”, asks another.
Others say like Chris Crocker (LOOK) and wondering when people are going to leave Hailey Bieber alone.

There are also those who point out that Jimmy Kimmel was not necessarily trying to throw shade at Justin Bieber’s wife.
“The joke wasn’t even about Hailey specifically or throwing shade at her, it was about LA culture and people drinking her smoothie,” writes a user on X to Selenators who accept what they also believe was a jab at Ms. Biebs.

But it doesn’t seem like Hailey’s fans are the only ones who interpret the Oscar host’s joke as an ever so slight throw of shade.
Dad Stephen Baldwin also takes to social media during the awards ceremony.
He does so in a rather bizarre video on Instagram Story and says: keep my daughter’s name out your fucking mouth.

Recently, he shared a video asking for prayers for his son-in-law and daughter.
In retrospect, the latter admittedly confirmed that everything is fine at home – despite all the rumors that abound.
