Justin Hubner started when Cerezo Osaka faced Morioka in the second round of the J League Cup. Cerezo Osaka won 1-0, Hubner took part in the goal.
Morioka vs Cerezo Osaka took place at Iwagin Stadium, Wednesday (17/4) afternoon WIB. Justin Hubner, defender from Indonesia is the starter in Cerezo Osaka’s line-up.
Previously, Hubner only played twice as a substitute in the J1 League competition. Meanwhile, Morioka is a third division team, aka from the J3 League.

The score was tight 0-0 in the first half. The hosts had a chance from Ken Tokura in the 10th minute, unfortunately his shot narrowly missed the target.
One hour into the match, the score was still level. What a shame Justin Hubner, he was given a yellow card in the 64th minute.
Finally the chaos broke Cerezo Osaka. The Brazilian player, Vitor Bueno was able to score a goal in the 67th minute.
Hubner took part in the goal. Starting with a pass to Lucas Fernandes, Lucas was able to control the ball after a duel with the opposing defender, then sent it to Bueno. The last name finished the round leather with a curved kick.
The score finished 1-0 for Cerezo Osaka’s victory. Hubner completes full time performance.
The J League Cup in 2024 will use a 60 team format from J1 League, J2 League, to J3 League. This competition has been running since 1992.
