On Tuesday “Who knows something like that?” to a music duel: Violinist Daniel Hope played together with Elton against cellist Raphaela Gromes and Bernhard Hoëcker. The issue was extremely unusual, and not necessarily in a positive way.

After two rounds, both teams had not answered any questions correctly. The presenter Kai Pflaume then surprisingly interrupted the broadcast for a short show in which the guests were involved. Given the somewhat unpleasant situation for the celebrities, this wasn’t exactly inconvenient.

Points lull at the Kai Plum Show

56 people from the audience sat behind Team Bernhard in the studio, 67 people sat behind Elton and Daniel Hope. The role of favorite was thus taken, and Team Elton was also allowed to choose the first category.

Apparently the pressure was a little too great because it took a long time until the first 500 euros were collected. After about 20 minutes the tide was still low and Kai Pflaume tried to lighten the mood.

“This is a good moment to make a small break and bring a bit of entertainment to the show,” explained the moderator, quite surprisingly. Shortly afterwards, the 56-year-old became specific and announced:

“Maybe we need some music now!”

That was the sign for Daniel Hope and Raphaela Gromes, who finally made music together on stage. They presented the audience with a cancan, a fast French dance, on their traditional instruments.

“Who knows something like that?” just saved

“Now, now! Second half,” said Kai Pflaume optimistically after the game. In fact, the musical performance seemed to have helped, as things went at least slightly better for the teams from then on. In desperation, Elton had previously made a suggestion: Each team determines the category that has to be played for the opposing team, based on the motto: It can’t get any worse anyway.

In the next question from the “Headlines” section, Elton and Daniel Hope were actually successful, even though they enlisted the help of the audience joker. “Finally!” Kai Pflaume cheered after the success.

Immediately before the master question, Team Elton had raised 1,500 euros and Team Bernhard had raised 500 euros – at least. With the correct answer to the question about the celebrity whose native name was Georgios Kyriakos Panayiotou (George Michael), Elton and Daniel Hope won the “Who knows something like that?” then finally in itself.

Helene Fischer ended her spectacular “Rausch” tour in October last year. The singer gave a total of 71 concerts in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The artist collaborated with the famous Cirque du Soleil. “Tours have always been milestones in my career, which is why we want to break new ground together with Cirque du Soleil and offer you an experience that hasn’t existed before,” she emphasized, referring to her huge arena tour.
