On Wednesday, May 8, a new presentation of the Nuestra Tierra awards was held, considered the most important award in national music. Paisa singer Karol G was the big winner of the night, with 6 awards, an evening to which she arrived as the favorite with 15 nominations.
The awards evening took place at the Teatro Mayor Julio Mayo Santo Domingo in Bogotá. Other winners were Andrés Cepeda, for best Male Pop Artist; Juliana, as the female Pop Artist; in vallenato the winner was Silvestre Dangond; the Best Popular Artist, Luis Alfonso; the Best Folk Artist was Adriana Lucía; Esteban Rojas won the award for best New Artist, and the Root Woman of Our Earth went to Andrea Echeverri.
The award ceremony was presented by Carolina Araujo and Orlando Liñán, and will be broadcast on a delayed basis on the RCN channel on May 13. Below is the complete list.
