Katarina Živković started her career in 2007 in Zvezde Grand, where she reached the finals, but became known to the general public only after participating in Farma, where she also won.
The singer admitted that she did not expect such an outcome and the viewers’ votes that led her to the main prize, and then revealed that she had heard a lot of negative comments about herself.
“I was shocked when I won at the Farm, most of the housemates said that I didn’t know anything, I just put on make-up, I was the youngest, and they were very mean to me, they made up lies. The people recognized that, I didn’t win because of myself alone, but people were mean to one girl, and on top of all that was the love story with Baneta, and all of them together led me to victory,” said Katarina and revealed the living conditions at the Farm:

“As much as people loved me, they hated me as much. I didn’t have a mentor, or someone with whom I could consult about what step to take. If I had been smarter, I would have progressed much faster, but even fame did not lead me to do anything bad. The whole my career starts with my maturation, the reality show brought me that people know me, but that was not the point for me, I wanted to be known for my songs. After the reality show, I had painful moments, I was on all the covers, I was a guest on all the shows, if someone saw it they would say ‘wow, what kind of dresses are those’ and the like, and at that moment I had no basic means, not even medicine to buy in pharmacies.
