The power supply was gradually restored in about 30 minutes, and the wind and rain gradually weakened and stopped. Some local meteorological experts said that the gust intensity of the strong storm in Kathmandu exceeded 50 kilometers per hour on the evening of the 14th.

According to Nepalese media reports, the strong wind caused serious damage to the facilities on some streets in Kathmandu, and the sign boards of some roadside shops were blown off and damaged. Motorcyclists and pedestrians sought shelter from the rain, but some vehicles were still damaged and pedestrians were injured.
