Artist Katy Perry has been a judge in the last seven seasons of “American Idol”. Perry himself reveals this during a visit to “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”, reproduced by Good Morning America.

– I think this will be my last season, she says and explains that she loves the programme.
– It has connected my heart even further to America, but I feel that I have to go out and feel my own pulse.

Furthermore, the artist hints that she would like to see more of the world, and perhaps come up with more music.
Kimmel asks Perry if the other judges are aware she’s done, to which she says they don’t know.

– They know that I have something planned for the year, and have seen me in the studio a lot. It will be a very exciting year, says Perry.
