South Korean footballer Lee Kang-in is receiving negative attention. The public who criticized this also had an impact on processed chicken meat products which were also threatened.

As quoted by Korea JongAng Daily, one of them is Alachi Chicken — a brand of processed chicken meat products from Samhwa Foods, which began using the figure of Lee Kang-in in its promotional materials since last January.
“I will never order this chicken again unless they take down Lee’s photo,” commented one netizen.
Naver revealed other similar threats that were circulating on social media against Alachi. “Unconditional boycott,” said one netizen.
There were also netizens who teased Alachi and questioned the appropriateness of Lee Kang-in appearing in the brand’s promotional material, after news emerged about his behavior in the South Korean national team.
“Is the model’s personality worthy?” wrote a local netizen.
“You are a cheap chicken,” said another, emphasizing the request for Alachi to replace Lee Kang-in.
